Raymer wins again with unbeatable sprint.

Perfect fall weather for 40 laps of the Exeter Road Crit course. A very well attended event for this late in the year.

The racing started with some fairly fast pace making courtesty of Carlos, Graydon and Forsdike. It stayed all together for a while until Forsdike went on a good solo effort. He was caught and there were some other short lived moves including Paul Dean and Myself in a couple different moves. The "TV" break of the night was a pretty solid effort by Carlos and Vedova. They had a good gap and were out of sight for a number of laps. Vedova came back and eventually Carlos followed. From there it was a series of attacks by a number of Westhaven riders with Graydon and Brandon doing a fair bit of chasing. Graydon was heavily marked but put in a number of attacks. Westhaven sent Mike, Joe, Paul and Carlos all off the front at different times in the last 12-13 laps. They were mostly solo efforts and with 5 laps to go it was all together. Forsdike put in a couple hard attacks but was closely marked. With one to go it was still all together but the pace slowed and Paul Dean put in a good attack. On the backside I closed the Gap to Paul before the second last corner and the sprint was on. Around the last corner it was Graydon and I side by side closely followed by Kees and Carlos. Graydon took another impressive sprint win with Kees in second with the best sprint I have seen him do, myself in 3rd, Carlos a close 4th and Forsdike in 5th.

My Eload Stars:

Graydon - Another win, made it look easy
Carlos - Aggressive and a good sprint
Kees - Best sprint I have seen from him and strong as usual.
Andrew House - Impressive performance for a junior in his first crit.
Steve Meyer - Another impressive ride from this first year junior
Paul Dean - End of season Cross form is coming along well.
Forsdike - Always Active
Brandon - Active race and helped bring it all together at the end.
Vedova - In the longest break of the night
