The next two weekends will provide exciting racing at the Forest City Velodrome. Team riders Vince De Jong and Steve Meyer will definately be riding strong. Plan to attend and check out the action. Details are below:
October Six-Day Races at the Forest City Velodrome
(October 20, 21, 22, and 27, 28 and 29, 2006)
Come experience the speed, thrills and excitement of Six-Day Racing at the Forest City Velodrome. See why in the early part of the 20th century, Six-Day Racing was among one of the biggest of professional sports, rivalling football and baseball for fan support. For this event only we are offering special admission rates to spectators belonging to either the Ontario Cycling Association (OCA) or local area cycling clubs (LCC, LCW and FCV).
Friday, October 20th and 27th at 7:00 pm
$2.00 admission for OCA members
Saturday, October 21st and 28th at 7:00 pm
$5.00 admission for local London (LCC, LCW, FCV) members
Sunday, October 22nd and 29th at 2:00 pm
$2.00 admission for OCA members & Ontario clubs
See Madison racing at it best with seven teams already registered. Watch the teams contest sprints, Miss & Out races & Prime sprints.
