Just wondering if people were satisfied with their Biemme clothing?

Aside from some of the seams sometimes falling apart on me, my main complaint is that for the life of me I can't figure out why they put those stupid seams in the chamois. Worst place to add an abrasive if you ask me.

Maybe it's just me, but I wonder if it could be possible for 2007, we explore the option of getting Garneau or Sugoi team clothing. I know from personal use and experience both those companies make "seam-free" and very comfortable chammys.

Anyone else have similar sentiments?

i would like to try something new as well. those seams killed me in the first bit we had the bibs. the brockville club i am riding for up here for fun ordered from garneau and they screwed up the order royaly. the clothes don't look that great either. sugoi might be cool to try. there shorts are amazing. descente athletic might be worth looking into as well. i read an article about them a couple of months ago, looks like they make great stuff. also. i don't know if it is just me but i have had broken zippers on 2 jerseys and 1 vest. something new would be good.

I'd have to agree, the Biemme bibs aren't very comfortable. I would like it if we switched to Sugio for the 2007 season.

Well I tend to agree with some stuff said. The most comfortable I have tried were the Sugoi. The Sugoi rep is a great guy and if we want to do a combo with the Tri guys and road guys this might be the way to go. Sizing is the key and if The Bossman agrees sizing outfits could possiblly be arranged to try on at our leisure to ensure propper fit .... no guess work. It might be a tad more like a buck per item but my Butt is worth it.......

The sooner the better on the decission either way to get the wheels turning...

A switch from Biemme was already something I was considering. Not too impressed with Garneu's quality, but certainly Sugoi would be one to look at. What about Giordana? I have had Giordana Jerseys and they were nice. I will see if I can set up a poll feature to get a vote going.

I think service should be a factor and location of rep,Company, and price. Sending a custom skinsuit to Europe for them to look at the pin holes is insane. Then what, send another???? No, they wont make one..... Things to think about......

As far as the Biemme clothing goes, I find the chamois quite comfortable compared to the Garneau shorts which I had last year, there were different types of chamois to choose from and I think the guys picked the ones which were the "lightest" or smallest for racing only, I don't know about you guys but having multiple team shorts and jerseys for training, racing, wet days, dry days etc. doesn't work for everyone so I would say pay close attention to the options availabe so we can all have clothes which work for us in all conditions...MT

Garneau has a track record of quality control issues. The Giordana 3DOF elite inserts are the best I've ever used. It's only $6 extra/shorts which is really nothing when compared to the comfort.

Go full zip on the jerseys and consider double zippers. It's easier to pull down a zipper then to mess with pulling up. Usefull if attacks go on the descent just over the top of a climb.

Alright now Im getting Beaten down like a red headded stepchild on the compact crank issue. I know Tyler Hamilton did the tour on them . How would one decide on the use of them. I guess if I win or am close to winning every sprint tomorrow in a 53/13 which is close to a compact crank max combo against all those mashers with their 53/11. Now by me spinning faster and not using up as much glycogen stores I should be fresher longer???? Is there any science that can be quoted? How often are we as racers in the 53/11 as apposed to having the perfect gear range. Why isnt it manley to spin?
Anyone have any proof for or against these suposed techno wonders????
