New bike on the trainer?

I just picked up a new road bike (Cannondale R5000). This thing still has the new bike smell :D and I am wondering if there are any ill effects to the bike associated with using it on the trainer. I have very little experience riding indoors and the last thing I want to do is hurt my new baby :p

Nothing to worry about. The only thing I'd suggest is putting some cheap rubber on the rear so you don't burn out the tread on whatever nice foldables that came stock. That orange conti hometrainer tire would work very nice too.
