ZM High Park Classic Back Again!

Effingham, then Provincials on Rattlesnake and now the High Park skull cracker is back again. This season is going vertical fast.

Anyone who didn't race High Park '04 and '06 missed the most entertaining event on the calendar IMO. It is a relentless, lung bursting circuit with huge downhill speed and grinding hills every lap. Plus it's in a beautifual park with no traffic, wides roads and lots of spectators. It's just perfect, I highly recommend it to everyone. Unless you like cookies, then nevermind.

Pretty thin calendar, but it's very early. The vertical stuff will be entertaining, but I'm hoping for 2 things: A return of the little Hamilton stage race, and some team mates to race it with.

It's a Christmas Miracle!

High Park was pretty intense last year. Great course with wide roads in GENERAL. We'll ignore the little death trap at the bottom of that hill. The first time down it we just about all took each other out, after that it just made it a lot more exciting. One time up the little chute some dude in the center of the pack dropped his chain and us outsiders had to do a little off roading up the bank on the side of the path to avoid crashing.

Good news is Hamilton Classic should be back, they are just playing around with the date.
