Wow. Some early season distance. Senior 1/2 at 111km. M1 and M2 at 92km. And on a rolling course. Definitely not the 40-50km sit-ins of years past. Those HCC guys are great.

The course is 18.5 km long with 200 meters of climbing per lap. What other courses we ride would that compare to? I know the climb at KW is 30 meters, and maybe another 30 meters of the backside so about 60 meters per lap, but on a much shorter lap. D have you ridden this course? My guess would be something about the same difficulty as KW, but not as hard as Mosport? Maybe something like the old Warkworth course?

I know the roads fairly well. It's analogous to Warkworth, but not so long a grind at the end. Certainly won't have that 80km/h right hander into the finish stretch.
i ride these roads quite frequently. Start finish is about 8km from my house.
There are 3 good hills in the course , all within about a 5km section and rest of the course is flat. The hill after the start finish hill is the toughest of the 3 as it is the longest, with a right turn in the middle of it.
At that time of year the wind is usually a big factor as the course is largely unprotected.
