Pursuit Congratulations

Congratulations to Brandon Throop for winning the winter nationals pursuit in Senior and Steve Meyer for winning the pursuit for Junior. Throop did a 4:00 min 3000 meter to win the seniors while Steve did a 3:49. 3:49 ties Steve for the track record with CC rider Vince DeJong (now senior and in SC this week)

I was very proud of both riders, wish I could have been there.

I think we need to test this kids urine. Not only did he throw down an unbelievable 3'49 in the 3000m, but he also rode an 8.64s flying lap AND THEN blew apart the scratch race for a great victory. One more day left, so hopefully he has a little bit left in the tank...

Second big congratulations to Brandon and Steve for taking the overall in their categories (Steve in Junior and Brandon in Senior). Very impressive, wish I didn't have such a busy weekend so I could have been there to see it.
