3-4Hr Ride starting from my house in the Village of Carlisle (North of Waterdown/Burlington) 10;00 am
Will do the Good Friday course a couple of times and then ride over and do the Rattlesnake Course if everone is game.
Ride should be steady with a Lap or 2 of the GF course( 2 X 18.5 K) at higher pace (paceline ).
If you are coming from London and other points west:
401 East to Hwy #6 South.
Turn Right off of ramp.
Go through village of Morriston and its 10k or so to carlisle Rd.
Carlisle rd. is the first traffic light after Morriston. You can only turn left.
3 Km east to Village of Carlisle.
Turn left at 4 way stop.
.75 Km north on centre Rd to Woodend
Turn Right on to Acredale
House is #5 on the right (Green Garage doors)
If you are coming from the East,South
Take HWY 6 north from the 403. Go up the hill and across Hwy5
About 10k north of HWY5 turn right on Carlisle rd. (Tim Hortons on SE Corner)
Directions the same after that.
No problem changing at my place.
Ride leaves promptly at 10;00 so leave yourself time to change etc.
I will send out an update tonight , but weather looks fine. I would expect Air temp to be around 2c when we start. East wind means a little cooler than normal.
