Prior to the start of the CHIN points race I bumped into the Superstar in the parking lot. He's looking lean and mean and was totally focused on the task ahead.
Props to him and Vince who rode well in what was a hellatiously tough race. I got dropped pretty early and half the pack was already off the back by then. From what I saw less than 1/3 of the starters were in the main bunch by the finish.
However, when goofing around before the race I suggested to my 8 year old he "kick Tony in the @$$". Being the good boy he is he tried to do so and the Superstar cowered like a little girl in the school yard. Clearly his training has made him a force in the local cycling scene, riding strong and always in the hunt at the finish. But enough is enough, when you're so thin you have to worry about an 8 year old puttin' a hurt on you you know you've gone too far....
