Heads up for those I haven't already discussed this with.

Gearing for Rattlesnake is recommended 39x27. Check your ego at the door and get a 27 if you are going to do the race. I had one client who had a 25 and then got a 27 and his time up the climb at a similar effort was 10-15 seconds faster just by having the extra cog.

COMPACT 34/50 with a 27-12 all the way!!! As I stated in another thread you won't be pedalling that descent so no worries by being under geared there.

Hey Shane,

What about Achtervolger and the Little Engine that Could, are they riding compacts at provincials as well :eek:
