My family is officially crazy but I'm so happy that they are............. today is my birthday & they got me a "Look" carbon water bottle cage to match my new bike. This cage weighs in at 24 grams but the price is $99.99. The weight of my old cage is 32 grams so I will be lighter by 8 grams. To put this in perspective a tall water bottle full of water weighs ~1,000 grams. Bottom line is when starting my ride my hydration system (it's expensive so I need a fancy name for it) will weigh 1,024 grams compared to a super heavy 1,032 grams. This makes me so much more confident when I'll be blowing by Andrew going up Ceasar's Head in March.
